Emotional Intelligence at Work
Self-awareness, self-regulation and reading a room — the foundation every other program builds on.

Averline Training Division
Averline trains its workforce in emotional intelligence and workplace soft skills before placement. Nine structured programs, completed by every worker on our bench.
Why we train
They fail on attendance, communication, friction with a supervisor, or an inability to adapt when the instruction changes mid-shift. Technical screening cannot catch that. Training can shape it.
So Averline built a training division. Every worker on our bench completes structured programs in emotional intelligence and workplace soft skills before they set foot on a client site — and we reinforce that training while they are on assignment.
For employers, the effect shows up as fewer no-shows, fewer replacement requests, and crews that hold together. For workers, it is a set of skills that follows them into every job they ever hold.
The curriculum
01
Self-awareness, self-regulation and reading a room — the foundation every other program builds on.
02
Clear verbal and written communication with supervisors, crews and clients, including shift handoffs.
03
De-escalation, disagreement without damage, and knowing when and how to escalate.
04
Punctuality, shift discipline, prioritization and the habits behind a dependable attendance record.
05
Working inside a crew, sharing load, supporting new hires and keeping the line moving together.
06
Handling changed instructions, equipment issues and unfamiliar tasks without stalling out.
07
Professional service behavior for client-facing and contact-center placements.
08
Dress, conduct, phone and device norms, safety culture and respectful workplace behavior.
09
For workers on a lead or supervisory track: delegation, feedback and accountability basics.
How it is delivered
Classroom sessions alone do not change behavior. The Averline model pairs instruction with reinforcement on live assignments.
Core programs completed during onboarding, before a worker joins the ready bench.
Realistic workplace scenarios drawn from warehouse, plant and office environments.
Check-ins during the assignment to apply the training to what is actually happening on site.
Workers showing lead potential move into Leadership Fundamentals for supervisory placements.
Skills get someone hired. Behavior keeps them employed. We decided to be responsible for both.
Averline Training DivisionIncluded at no additional cost. Training is not an add-on line item for clients and it is not a fee for workers. It is part of how Averline delivers a workforce.
That is the difference between a staffing agency that forwards résumés and a workforce partner that prepares people.
